Yesterday the FDA authorized booster shots of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine for 12- to 15-year-olds. The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices is scheduled to meet on Wednesday regarding the authorization. Based on previous experience we anticipate they will also approve administration of booster doses of Pfizer’s vaccine for 12 to 15 year old adolescents.
