PWG and UCSF

We want to share some news with all of you: PWG is now a partner community practice with UCSF. We have been an affiliate practice with UCSF since 2015, and as we look to the future we wanted to retain our independent practice model while maintaining our financial stability. Both UCSF and PWG share similar cultures and patient-care values, and we are excited at the new opportunities this partnership will bring for our patients and our practice.

What does this mean for you?

PWG still exists and we are not moving.

All the staff and physicians still work for PWG.

We are merging some financial operations which will give us increased stability.

We will become part of UCSF’s clinically integrated network which includes practices in San Francisco and the East Bay.

We will continue to provide the highest quality pediatric care for our patients and families.

Will anything be different?

We will be using UCSF’s billing service to interface with insurance companies.

Your statement may look different.

Patients with high deductible plans may see a change in billed amounts.

You can continue to call PWG with any questions regarding your statement.

We will continue to publish updates on our blog, website, and twitter feed.

HOLIDAY HOURS

Pediatric Wellness Group will be open from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for urgent care appointments on  Saturday December 31st.  We will be closed on Monday January 2nd in observance of the federal holiday, so our staff can spend time with their families.  We will reopen with normal hours on  Tuesday  January 3rd, 2017.
