We will be having drop-in flu vaccine clinics:
Tuesday, November 18th
10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
and
Wednesday, November 19th
3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
We have finally received a partial shipment of our INJECTABLE FLU VACCINE for both the over 3 age group and the under 3 age group.
We continue to have the nasal mist for ages 2 and up. This is an intra-nasal vaccine and we cannot give this to children with the any of the following health issues:
an allergy to eggs (this applies to both nasal and injectable vaccines)
history of chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes or asthma
any episodes of wheezing or bronchospasm in the past 12 months
if they have received Varivax or MMR in the past 4 weeks.
child must avoid contact with persons who are severely immunocompromised for 7 days after getting the nasal spray vaccine.
If you are not sure if your child can receive this vaccine please feel free to call our office and discuss this with your child’s pediatrician. This clinic is for established patients of PWG only, and only while supplies last. We are expecting one more shipment of flu vaccine later this month, we will keep you posted via our website and facebook page.
