Billing & Insurance
We participate with most local and many national insurance plans. However it is your responsibility to understand whether your insurance has limits on the doctors you can see, or the services you can receive.
If we are a participating provider with your insurance carrier and you have provided us with complete and accurate information, we will submit your claim for services. We will ask to see your child’s insurance card each time you bring him/her in for a visit.
Our HMO contracts are affiliated with Hill Physicians Network (HPN) and information can be found here.
There are rules and regulations with HMO insurances that you need to be familiar with. For example, if you need a referral, as your Primary Care Provider (PCP) you must contact our office in order for us to initiate any sub-specialty referrals before you make an appointment.
We strongly advise that you check with your insurer before your first appointment (and every time your plan renews) to make sure that we are listed in your network, that you have pediatric and well care benefits, and that you are aware of any co-pays, deductible or coinsurance that you may need to pay at the time of your visit.
